This place has been empty so long that I really doubt you’ll run into any roadblocks. “Well, um, you’d put in an offer and the sellers have a limited time to get back to you. “What happens now?” Karen runs her hands down the Elle Woods pink suit she’s wearing and flips through papers on her clipboard nervously. “It totally is.” I adjust my head scarf and turn to her. I’ve been in East Hollow all of three months and decided that my fresh start should come with my dream job as well. There’s probably more but I haven’t explored too much yet. The closest store is a comic shop about five minutes down the road and a bookstore in one direction and the chain grocery store in the other. A gravel lot surrounds us and beyond that, trees. Vines are growing up one side, the trim needs a paint touch up, and the brick looks worn, but it fits my aesthetic perfectly. “It is?” I think her name was Karen, yeah, Karen, looks up at the tiny brick building then back to me. I definitely freak her out a little, which is fine because I’m a little freaky. “T VIV his is perfect!” I clap my hands, spinning to face the poor woman in pink next to me.
